how it works.
-
01
You pick the apps that eat your day.
Whichever ones you want. Up to 3, free.
-
02
When you open them, this is what you get.
A screen that reminds you that you blocked it yourself.
-
03
To unlock, you hold your finger for 12 seconds.
Just enough to ask yourself whether you really want to. Let go and it goes back.
4 hours of scroll. or this.
From 7 to 11 at night. The same four hours.

- you trained · 40 min
- phone down · 2 h 20 min
Buendía doesn’t add hours to your day. It hands back the ones you already had.
And it tells you on its own: you log nothing.
no guilt. just personal bests.
You set yourself a daily goal of blocked time. Every day you hit it, it adds up. And if one day you slip, you don’t go back to zero.
why not just use Screen Time?
Because it has a button that says “Remind me in 15 minutes,” and you already learned to tap it without reading it. Buendía doesn’t ask you: it asks you for 12 seconds.

what happens on your phone stays on your phone.
The app has no accounts and sends none of your data to any server. Not even we can see which apps you block: Apple won’t let us, and that’s how it should be.

questions.
- When does it come out?
- Soon, very soon. Join the list and we’ll let you know when it opens.
- Is it free?
- Blocking is free, always, up to 3 apps. There will be a paid plan, Buendía Plus, to block all the apps you want and see your full history.
- Is there an Android version?
- Not for now. Buendía uses Apple’s Screen Time technology, which only exists on iPhone.
- What if I need an app urgently?
- You unlock it: 12 seconds with your finger and you’re in. Buendía doesn’t lock you out, it just makes you think twice.
- What data do you keep?
- Your email, if you join. Nothing else. What happens in the app stays on your phone.
